A short course on “Emerging Contaminants in Water and Wastewater” will be held October 21-22, 2014 at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Information will be presented regarding treatment of emerging contaminants in drinking water, wastewater, and biosolids; regulations; risk communication with the public; contaminant fate in the environment; non-traditional contaminants including viruses; and water reuse applications.
