This is done by enlisting alternative delivery, integrating early with the contractor, and educating the owner on the real schedule control factor which is equipment lead time. The project reviewed is the Wastewater Improvements Project for the Town of Syracuse. The project replaced existing oxidation ditch mixers and a regenerative blower with a new aeration system designed to maintain oxygen, reduce power usage, and improve maintenance issues.
