Presenter Scott Ham is the Manager of Silver Creek Water Corporation, where he has worked for 32 years. In Exam Cram 3, water operators will study more advanced subjects regarding water treatment and large distribution systems. This is to further build upon their knowledge and training from Exam Cram 1 and 2, in preparation for taking the certification exam. There will be advanced math formulas and specific discussion for larger systems and advanced treatment processes for surface and groundwater including source water protection, WT3, WT4 and WT5. This will include interactive and high energy examples, flip charts and slides of useful information, that will cover both general and technical categories that follow IDEM’s guidance on proper practices.
