This workshop will provide attendees basic strategies for working safely on the road, as well as best practices for handling temporary traffic control and flagging. Topics to be discussed include:
Working safely on the road
Importance of proper personal protective equipment and visibility
Basics of temporary traffic control
Best practices for flagging traffic
Hands On outdoor set up and demonstration
This class has been developed to provide safety training to utility workers, emergency
personnel, managers, etc. All will learn what is required to support and manage crews that
perform roadside temporary traffic control.

Crew leaders, equipment operators, laborers, and flaggers will learn how to reduce the dangers found on the worksite for both workers and drivers, and begin to think about safety every day on every job.
Our instructor, Todd Morrison, P.E. is an ATSSA certified Traffic Control Supervisor, Flagging Instructor, and Traffic Control Design Specialist.
