Information covered in this workshop will be:
Confined space readiness is the first step to almost any job water and wastewater facilities face. Whether changing pumps, laying sewer lines, etc., the very first step is entering the confined space in which it is housed. To maintain the safety and
integrity of the water or wastewater system, operators and others performing these tasks need proper training on the step-by-step guides on getting in and out of
confined spaces.
Every person involved in the confined space entry (entrant, attendant, and entry
supervisor) must be trained in the hazards associated with a confined space, signs and symptoms of exposure, and the proper use of gas monitoring equipment and forced air blowers, among others.
This workshop will cover the following:
